On Saturday, December 12 at 6pm, the Civic Media Center will host a presentation on the use and abuse of tasers by law enforcement officers. The presentation will consist of a series of short videos followed by discussion, relating to taser abuse and a Citizens Police Review Board in Gainesville. Snacks provided by Food Not Bombs. ~Link to Event~

SCLC Taser Conference
We were invited to the SCLC Taser Conference in Pensacola, FL on December 5th, 2009. Not too much was spoken on taser issues, but we have made connections with the SCLC to join in the fight for a CPRB in Gainesville!
